Our
junior tennis programme allows over 500 people to become members of
our club and literally hundreds of others to belong to other clubs
where we coach. The positive attitude to juniors is a realisation
that they are our future and we encourage them to be part of the club.
Many of our juniors work for us in a coaching assistant role as they
get older or perhaps work behind the bar or in the office. The club
caters for everyone and encourages children to come down to the club
and play on the courts or sit with their peer group and not feel excluded,
as so often happens.
Our positive attitude towards juniors sustains their interest for
a lot longer than other things might do through their teenage years
and hopefully they will continue with tennis through to adulthood.
We also hold special events and tournaments (see Langford Russell) - including knockouts
and doubles. News will be posted on this page so keep coming back to see what's happening.

LANDFORD RUSSELL LEAGUES
Competitive Tennis for Young People aged 7 to 16
Enter the Langford Russell Leagues because:
1. You are having coaching and you really want to improve. Get competitive!
2. The league divisions are worked out so that you play other players of a similar standard.
3. You want to have fun! The tennis is good and you will make new friends on and off court.
4. You want to win a medal, (you never know!).
